Our Classroom Design

  • The classroom desks are set up in rows of 4. This will help students create their business groups. Each group should not contain more than 4 students per group. This helps the classroom room structure flow easily, prevent trip hazards with technology, and ensure the teacher can access all group without disrupting others.
  • Each student will have a computer, keyboard, one mouse, and mousepad at their desk. This will provide students with the essentials to perform to their best in our computer-based classroom.
  • All students are facing towards the front of the room. At the front of the room the students will find 2 white boards for collaboration area and essential questions to address the students learning targets that day. In the middle of the 2 white boards in an interactive smart board where students will follow along during class lessons and instruction.
  • The teacher’s desk is behind all the students to ensure all students can be seen and receive the help that they need. As a teacher, I can easily see what help the students need during a live demonstration using new technology and tools.
  • The cabinets are in the back of the room. On top of the cabinets you will find the printed, student make-up workstations, and classroom information. Also, within the cabinets you will find resources for students such as textbooks, paper, craft materials, and FBLA materials.
