Welcome to Business Education and the Entrepreneurship Pathway. We will learn about technology in business, how to budget, marketing principles, communication strategies, technology in business, how to write a resume, leadership and management skills, and many more fun topics around business. Students who complete the pathway will receive a certification in general management along with a certification in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Unit 1 Foundations (LEB)

Welcome to the second level of the entrepreneurship pathway. In this unit we will learn about  our classroom, employ-ability skills, leadership, teamwork, ethical decisions, and problem solving. We will look at how to resolve an unethical situation, define leadership, and build our teams .

Unit 1 Foundations (IBT)

Welcome to the beginning of the entrepreneurship pathway. In this unit we will learn about  our classroom, employ-ability skills, business roles, functions, and understanding a companies vision. We will look at how to resolve customer complaints, understanding the customer, and how to resolve the problem.

Unit 4: Marketing

This unit we will dive deep into Marketing. Marketing is the basis of creating, promoting, and presenting a product or service to meet our customers wants and needs. A company must have the timing, location, and target market aligned to be successful.

The 4 P’s of Marketing are Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. There are discussions around the idea of a 5th P which would be considered People. We will understand the importance of each P in the Marketing Mix and how to perform Market research effectively.
